Netter's 3D Interactive Anatomy

Features common to both Netter's 3D Interactive Anatomy: Professional Edition Online AND Netter's 3D Interactive Virtual Anatomy: Stereo 3D Virtual Reality System

Netter—in 3D! The anatomical art of master medical illustrator, Frank H. Netter, MD, has been meticulously digitized and overlaid on detailed clinically accurate models of human anatomy to create a true 3D Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy.

Interact directly with the anatomy. You are in control. You select the anatomy you want to view-- by region, system, part (a major organ or joint), or through Search. You choose from a wide range of "Dissect" tools including Peel, Transparent, Label, Hide, Rotate, and more. You apply the tool to the anatomy.

One-of-a-kind Functionality. Navigate with free rotate, zoom, pan, and other manipulations. Dissect through peel, stick, explode, hide, and transparent tools. Use the quiz feature to test your knowledge of structures and landmarks on the anatomy you've selected. All tools are designed to help you learn and understand anatomy in an interactive and fun way.

Accurate anatomy. With advanced modeling techniques, rigorous reviews by professors of anatomy, and textures created from the didactic art of Netter, this software provides an accurate medical-level model of human anatomy.

Rich content. Over 7000 labels (structures and anatomical landmarks). Over 120 CT/MR scans taken at various planes throughout the body that can be correlated to the 3D model. In addition to the Netter art that forms the surfaces of the 3D models, over 100 additional Netter plates. have been added to the software to convey specific cross-sections, schema, and complex layered views of anatomy that can be studied, searched, and correlated to the 3D models. Over 30 Explore Exercises to guide you as you focus on key structures and their anatomical and clinical significance.

Intuitive, intelligent, and flexible interface. A Mentor window which shows a quick video and concise text describing the function of each button in the interface can be turned on and off so that even the novice can quickly use the full spectrum of exploration tools. Tools also have hotkey shortcuts and tips to enable versatility as users become more familiar with the software and the views of anatomy that they want to recreate.

Robust terminology database and search engine: Enables intuitive and hierachical searching of terms to help locate, label, and mark structures and landmarks quickly and easily.
